I tried for the past week to play Skyrim to record some footage of it and it kept crashing while loading a save file. The load screen would show up for a few seconds and then CTD. I thought it was the ENB mod I had itself being faulty so I took it out and sure enough the game loaded. So I did lots of tweaking and rearranging of files and still crashed every time. It was only today I realised it's actually Dxtory that crashes it, when I exit Dxtory the game runs fine with the ENB on.

Anyone got any advice how to get it to work?

I know this is completely unrelated, but what kind of rig do you have? I've been watching your video series and became curious.

    |Core i5 2500k(OCed) | Nvidia GTX 570 Superclocked Palit EditioN

Biostar Xtreme Edition TP67XE Motherboard |8GB Patriort Ram(OCed)| Samsung

    SynMaster BX2331 | HAF X Blue Edition

    256 GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD + 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM

That sounds weird. Maybe something in the advanced settings in Dxtory going wrong? I'd try there, I think everything off is usually the most stable but I don't know for sure.

Yeah maybe, I will try later. The Dxtory forums suggested using delay hook but that did nothing. It's very strange, cos it's the only game that does it

Same issue here mate, I was wanting to record with Dxtory and I use the Project ENB ... ENB ..and several other mods..I can load into the game.. as soon as I trigger to start recording.. I either record for about 4 secs then crash.. or its immediate crash. Ever find a solution?

Any software which interacts with the directx application of a game can potentially cause a crash or problems with ENB (ENB uses its own d3d9.dll file). This includesinclude apps such as Xfire, EVGA precision, afterburner etc which add overlay effects onto games.
