Mobile Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about phones, tablets, mobile operating systems, and, of course, the games. The mightiest warriors back up their arguments with facts.
Sorry guys, Windows Phone is the only phone with actual games. Yay Gamers!
- Dec 14, 2012 2:33 pm GMTFlash games which were and are still free on the inter of net, as thy its lord, are not games you spend money on and lower the value of gaming and making it so that good devs get blwon behind. Very few android, IOS game developers appstore or google play to be more accurate, are actually not considered the same as devs on PSN, XBLA, and the Disc based retail cousins. But XBLA arcade games are optimised for windows phone, and the ones that transfer over have at least an 88% or more functionality rate with the phone controls, which means it's the only phone a person can say actually has games for actual gamers than "angry birds", and it also has those games as an option as well. BUT, the XBLA games are the show, and can even add achievements to gamerscore. Heck the thing is practically the Xbox phone. Just sayin.

Angry brids is not a fully developed game, it's a flash game being charged for money with no actual value. The games no one took seriously before this/last gen of XBOX360/ps3/wii. It's signifigant because it keeps gaming values up while in the Android Ios market real devs are pushed aside for the MOST part while flash games dominate the front which have people calling themselves gamers.

Why is a game available on XBL better? Because it was designed for a console with a controller? How does that benefit touch-screen Windows Phone users? What advantage does it offer? Are you aware of the vast numbers of highly polished games on iOS?- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

The games on XBLA have value, for the gamer, games made for replay value and depth that things like angry birds do not have, not decreasing the value of better games with shovelware at the top. It's basically the Wii all over again just on phones. And then again, for the flash game enthusiast they have those on the phone IN ADDITION as well, and in most cases those are free and for some of them offer more depth than exclusive Flash type games on Ios and android or the same.
