It is, but nintendo know they can get away with it. The 2D marios are better than the 3D ones though, so they maybe justified.

I do feel there are some people that think they should pay less for a game if its 2D. I don't care how many dimensions a game has really, as long as its quality. Nobody can tell me a game like legendary is worth more money than NSMB or Rayman just because its 3D.
I saw that Rayman Origins went down in price quickly eventhough it was a superb game.

Are any of the Mario games worth 60 bucks?
Probably for Ninty. They put a bit of effort into each one and it got that appeal with it. They did a good job on its pricing considering how much it sells every time. This time around it seems the 60 bucks is working well too.
For us? Probably. Why do you think it sold that well to start with? Many of those ppl must not care about its price right?

I remember this topic coming up alot last year about Rayman Origins. Why does no one call out 3D games on pricing? Retail games shouldn't be $60 anyway regardless if they are 2D or 3D.
