System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.
Rules are simple:
- Read the Terms of Use and System Wars Survival Guide.
- Must be Level 10 or higher to create topics.
- Keep your discussions around what belongs here: platforms, games, developers, publishers, and stats.
- Don't quote more than one image in your post.
- Do NOT post or bump extremely abusive discussions (adult material/illegal activities/illegal advertising/etc).
Sick and tired of these idiots!
I've got games of XCom, Crusader Kings 2, and FF VIII going, but I pretty much always have an XCom, CK2, and FF going so nothing new there. :P
I bought BG:EE a couple days ago, put an evening in, and now I'm fighting the urge to bail on it. :( everything I read says BG1 starts slow, and you're terribly limited/weak to start...and they were absolutely correct. I'm also struggling with learning the magic system. I'm (pretty) sure I'll stick with it - the series has received a ton of love from forum veterans I highly respect - but I'm looking at clearing out a backlog game and then returning (probably starting completely over).
Currently trying to decide between Max Payne 3, Walking Dead (been waiting forever so I could play in one go) or returning to my long dormant AC:Brotherhood game. I'm also determined to grab and play the Arkham City DLC before the end of the year.
- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
