I don't know. It certainly looks better than a lot of other games and those burning buildings after you encountered the first scorcher looked really good.

But it's still just a 2D sprite. Fire can still improve a lot in videogames.

She killed a lot of people in previous TR games too though. The real question is: why did she have to kill those dinosaurs? I mean the creatures are extinct, let the last ones live will you :P

If the game is about survival I don't see killing people to survive as a bad thing.

edit: I can see how an overly big focus on combat rather than exploration and puzzles can be a bad thing though but that's not what I gathered from reviews and videos. Will check it out myself soon.

Crysis grass looks ugly now that we have Crysis 3 grass. Hehe :P

But anyway Crysis is still the best game in the series. Crysis 3 is very close though.

Could be. They look very similar.

So far I would rank the games like this: Crysis > Warhead > Crysis 3 >>>>>>>>>> Crysis 2. But I have yet to finish Crysis 3, so far it has taken me longer than 5 hours though, which is a pleasant surprise :)

Crysis 2 is the odd one of the bunch. I started playing it for the second time right after finishing Crysis and Warhead for the umpteenth time and I just had to quit playing it becuase the contrast was so big.

The gunplay was a lot better and the aliens were more fun to fight but everything else felt worse in 2. 3 offers big open environments again and feels more like the older games.

So far I liked everything  about it. I played it on a higher difficulty though, seeing as everyone said the game is too easy and the game offers a real challenge.

The only parts I didn't like so far was when prophet got in a VTOL with psycho and he was shooting aliens in a cutscene. I thought: let me play this part ffs, what's the use of a cutscene like that in a video game ?

And how [spoiler] Nomads death is so brushed over. He was the protagonist of crysis, don't treat it like it's just a small bump in the road [/spoiler]
