Trying to decide between three different HD tvs
The first one was a Coby , I read some reviews on a few sites and it didnt sound the greatest, I can deal with buying a sound bar if thats the only bad thing is the sound but I want to know if the video quality is there.
The second was a Sceptre , ive never heard of this brand .
The third is an RCA , this one got better reviews than the Coby .
All three are in my pricerange, with coby being the cheapest, I dont mind spending the extra if the other two are better, all tvs were 1080P 60Hz . Any help or info would be great, thanks in advance

the only difference in TVs is the useless features you gain as the price goes up. The size too.

The titanic/mona lisa/bible/MGS4/Patek Phillipe/GT-R of speakers:
capable of 1hz-105khz at perfect sound quality, the 12.12 channel Snell THX Reference system

All crappy brands.. What is your budget? Bar minimum recommendation is a Samsung PNE455 or PNE535 43" plasma.. If you can't afford them I advice you to check out 32-40" Samsung LCDs on the used market.

I wouldn't buy any of those, and I wouldn't want any of those brands in my house for visitors to see.
I also wouldn't settle for 60hz in 2012. Definitely go for 240hz or at least 120hz.
I don't see the point in motion interpolation, all it does is create input lag. None of them actually seem to take 120hz/240hz inputs.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

I see a difference in Rock Band 3, Sports programs like Football/Basketball, and Action Movie Blu-Rays.
Doesn't the input lag cause issues with rockband? I have enough issues with rockband being a drummer, I normally have to modify the settings a bit.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

As much as I hate playing Guitar and Drums with input lag, Singing is even worse. It's terrible how that lag affects a singer's performance.
I have a lot of BBQs where we have three singers for Rockband 3 or two signers for Singstar.
Luckily, like a CRT HD set, there is zero input lag problems with 1080p Plasma unlike my 120hz LCD and 240hz LED LCDs. They look great when images are slow or still. Too much blur in action movies in comparison to projectors, CRT, and Plasma.
Of course, there is the major problem with LCD and LED considering any Blu-Ray action movie I own as well. That's a whole other story.
I'm not justifying my purchase. I currently own a few HD CRTs, some LCDs, one LED LCD, and one Plasma. The differences on my media is night and day when I'm talking about motion blur and especially true blacks.
I'd say the Panasonic lcds are the way to go. I feel that, specs aside, they're just lit better. There's way less halo-ING/blooming/whatever term you want to use.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
