System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.

Rules are simple:

- Keep your discussions around what belongs here: platforms, games, developers, publishers, and stats.
- Don't quote more than one image in your post.
- Do NOT post or bump extremely abusive discussions (adult material/illegal activities/illegal advertising/etc).

    Watch it here.

    NA Summary:

    • Reggie announces he's shipped Bill Trinen to Japan.
    • LEGO Iwata makes his debut.
    • Lego City Undercover is shown. Includes a reference to The Shawshank Redemption and comes out early 2013.
    • A gameplay trailer for Pikmin 3 is shown. The game comes out Q2 2013.
    • Game & Wario is shown. The minigames include the Wario series trademark random humor and is designed for play with multiple people with one gamepad. One such minigame is Fruit where you play a thief attempting to steal fruit.
    • Wii Fit U is shown. The game comes with a Wii Fit meter which you can take with you while you're out and about to measure...things.
    • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is shown. Kasumi DLC is confirmed. Like Momiji, she's a free download.
    • Panaroma View is shown. You can look around a particular scene as if you're there by moving around in circles in real life. Comes out in Spring, but there's a demo coming to the eShop.
    • A Google Maps application is shown. It's the same idea as Panaroma View, but with the street view from Google Maps. Iwata shows it off by visiting Nintendo headquarters. Comes out Q1.
    • Luigi's Mansion 2 is next. It comes out Spring 2013.
    • Brain Age: Concentration Training follows after. The game focuses on "information overload" and "information addiction". Basically, it's the increasing amount of technology in our lives negatively affecting our attention spans. Comes out in February.
    • Fire Emblem: Awakening comes out February 4th. More details and trailers are promised in the coming weeks.
    • For NSMB2, a Classic DLC pack is currently free through Jan. 31st. It includes three levels.
    • Tokyo Crash Mobs is shown for the eShop. You fight people by using other people.
    • GameFreak's HarmoKnight is confirmed for a NA release.

Probably a few more apologies for the Wii-U launch.

Some news on monster hunter would be nice, or luigi's mansion.

I hope they show a lot of great new 3DS and WiiU games, especially 3DS since I'm interested in buying one.

Yeah me too. It's going to be a stellar game. Are you more hyped about it than Bioshock ?

Not since that last trailer(infinite) we got. Although we're getting a gameplay trailer of LL tomorrow, so that might change.

I've heard rumors this is supposed to be a big one, with some big game reveals planned.
That would certainly be nice, since the canvas for both the 3DS and Wii U is very bleak right now, outside of the handful of (admittedly great) games that we already know are coming in 2013.

Where did you here that? It would make sense to do that after the holiday, in order to maximize system sales. Maybe release dates? Lego City looks great. Zelda 3DS perhaps?

Bet its just going to be an update on things we already know about: Lego City Stories, The Wonderful 101, eshop. If we're lucky we will get localisations of Bravely Default and Project X Zone.
