Maybe Sony brough something last gen. But this gen not so much. All they are about is stealing peoples idea. Terrible failure that is the Smash brothers clone. They stole ideas from Xbox like achievements. They tried to copy Wii with their terrible motion controls. I could go on and on. PS3 was a travesty this gen.

The ps3 started out dead last and is even with the 360. As for the tv's your a joke sony has the only 4k hdtv that I know of. The vita is the best hand held and already has some AAA games for it. The other stuff I don't know if it was any good who knows it might have been rubbish. In general if you buy electronics from sony it is money well spent. I still have a sony gdm-fw900 24 inch monitor hooked up to my gaming pc and I have yet to see a better picture on the new led monitors at any price. The only bad thing about sony is the price other than that every sony product I ever brought has been kick ass.

Sony has taken more risks and has invested in more great talent than any publisher I know. You would never see games like Heavy Rain, ICO or Shadow of the Colossus on any other platform.

I won't be glad because that means for consoles all I will have is nintendo. I refuse to buy another xbox until that thing is out for years and is proven to not break on you just by looking at it and if they are still cheaply made, then I just will never own it. I feel so burned by MS this gen, with replacing console after console, paying for stupid online, I have had it with them.

You clearly are a young gamer, that knows NOTHING about gaming. Sony released the first playstation after Nintendo trew away the idea of a CD 32bit SNES expansion. Sony made a market for the adult and adolescent gamer that didn't like to get stuck with very expensive PC's (we are talking the late '90 here) in a time when internet was something most of us could only enjoy in cybercafé's. It was a leap in technology that gave us a beautiful 1998, 1999 and 2000. The PS2 was the world's first DVD player on the market, again a major leap in technology, and brought great new games and ideas. With PS3, Sony made a daring move. While I agree that it wasn't the most tactical move, PS3 still brought us many new IP's and ideas, while the opposition brought nothing but sequels to a few original IP's, yes, I'm even talking about PC gaming. If Sony stops the gaming brand, I'll stop gaming. Simple as that.
