The Better deal?!?!
- Dec 3, 2012 7:23 am GMTHello guys, I live in a country where to import I have to pay a load of cash for shipping and taxes, so I try to find local deals. I love retro games & consoles. Recently I got two deals, tell me which one I should go for? 1) A black n64, A pickachu blue n64, two grey controllers, a mem card, power and av cables, and 6 games, incl. mk4 and Ocarina of time. 2) A black gamecube, with two wireless controllers, one wired, a mem card, a gba adapter without start up disc and 4 games: Super mario sunshine, luigi's mansion, zelda collector's edition and a Shrek game. Both are for around 70$. Thanks. I just wanna experience zelda without emulators. I'm buying on this saturday, one of these.

Because it's a Gamecube, imo has more gems to be found than the N64, you get the GBA adapter which is awesome, all you need is to get the start up disc. Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Manion and Zelda are 3 great games on the system.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Dec 3, 2012 8:36 am GMTI thought so, the zelda disc has zelda 1 and 2, as well as ocarina of time and majora's mask. I though I should buy the n64 coz of the 2 consoles and the rare blue pikachu one. It is near impossibe for me to get a start up disc here. Damn!

The blue Pikachu N64 is rare? I didn't even know that. I guess I have one more rare thing in my collection if that's true :P But yeah, you can easily get the start-up disc online, it shouldn't be too expensive to import.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
- Dec 3, 2012 10:37 am GMTYup. I'll see. I'm not sure of the rarity, the orange pikachu one is rarer. Check out: http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-64-System-Console-Pikachu-Bundle/dp/B00005249C I might just buy the gamecube, if I get the cash hehe! I thought super mario sunshine is a bit contorversial?

- Dec 3, 2012 9:38 pm GMTI'm going to suggest the Gamecube as well. You are correct that there was a lot of controversy surrounding Mario Sunshine when it came out. There are some annoying cut scenes you have to sit through at the beginning, and the hub world isn't all that interesting, but once you get past all that and start playing through the levels, the game is top notch. Plus, the Gamecube had a wider variety of games. And Mortal Kombat 4 wasn't all that good. If you can track down MK Deception or even Deadly Alliance, those are much better games.

The GameCube I think will give you more enjoyment overall, and would probably be easier to find games for.
