They should be able to work with most devices, have good sound quality, and be comfortable and easy to keep in the ear.

I was looking at the Astrotec AM90, but would like some opinions on other, better alternatives before I buy them.

P.S, they aren't for me, I prefer normal headphones.

in ear headphones are garbage. from beats to skullcandy. all the cords are cheaply made. the sound quality is just atrocious.

If your a person who has an iPod and listens to dubstep you will think any brand is the best quality.

Inexpensive Sennheisers. There are several on Amazon or Enay under $50.00 that sound great. Sennheiser is a renowned brand. They make Beats sound like crap.

Try some high end custom molds.
Oh wait, you have never actually tried any of the things you bash...

I use the Sennheiser CX300-II Precision IEMs with my cellphone. They're nothing spectacular obviously but very good for the price.

I use the same ones--they're great for the money. They list for $59, but amazon sells them in the mid $30s most of the time. Better than the S4s, IMO, which tend to favor the highs and lows.

...and Id agree about the negative comment about in-ears, to an extent. I'd only recommend pricier models if they were being used very casually. I've yet to encounter iems built well enough to keep the fear of breaking away.
