That's really what it boils down to. An undergrad in math opens a lot of possible doors.

We also top LSAT, bossperson, iirc.

Why George Mason? I didn't think they had a particularly good program.

Apparently, another Virginia state school (the one I'm going to) has a slightly better ranked program THAT I DID NOT KNOW EVEN KNOW EXISTED.

Not that it's a good program, either.

    Great engie school tho.

Virginia Tech? Do they have an econ PhD program? o_O

Something you all probably don't know is that him and Clint Eastwood fended off an attack from robot
ninjas and saved OT. Thanks Chessmaster! (And Clint Eastwood ) - DJ-Lafleur
That's all well and good in practice, but how does it work in theory?

I've heard that Econ tops LSAT actually. I'm sure it depends on the year though but both do great on lsat

Yea, well thats expected seeing as how you guys have been practicing all sorts of different methods of logic since 11th grade

I've always been exceptional in math up untill about grade 11, when I stopped caring and started taking a deeper interest in history/philosophy/politics etc. I still find math fascinating though and I would love to tone up my math knowledge if I could do so without paying for a course.

    Yes.

    Yes.

Not that I will do econ, and if I did, (for Ph.D., anyway) I would probably not do it there. Nor math, for that matter.

But, point being, Vuurk is picking the wrong Va. state school.

Sure if you want things to cost almost double in price. Minimum wage can go up but not that high

Unemployment (mainly teenage unemployment) would increase as a result. Also, there are some jobs that shouldn't even be $20 an hour.

It does sound nice though but it's just not possible.

Yes but people need to be able to afford to live and provide for their families. There are many really hard working people who don't make $20 an hour
