Purchased a game, it says its the demo in Download Management.

    I didnt actually install the game yet since its in my download que but it seems odd to me that it says its a demo after I purchased the game. Is that just a glitch and after the game is downloaded it unlocks the full version, or did something go wrong?

    It also says it about some other free games from PSN+ store that currently is in the Download Management.

    maybe it's no longer available. Or blocked. itunes does that after a while to purchesed music. Where you can't copy it anymore.

    What game is it? Is it one of them trial and unlock games? Download the trial/demo (which is the full game but you can only access the demo section)
    Once you buy the game you'll unlock the full game.

    I dont think it will be the demo, I just tested it on another game that said it was the demo and even it said it when it was installing but one I opened the game it was the full version. Only way to tell I guess is once its done downloading ill install it and see.

    I dont think it will be the demo, I just tested it on another game that said it was the demo and even it said it when it was installing but one I opened the game it was the full version. Only way to tell I guess is once its done downloading ill install it and see.

    Most download games on PSN (non-disc based indie stuff, etc) you download the demo, it's actually the whole game that you download, and then you purchase the unlock for the full game. When you buy it cold, you're doing both steps together.

    This should have given you the game unlock as well. If you don't see this in your download history go back to the game in the store to download both.

    Just to build on what the others are saying, it's my experience they like to download the unlock key first. They are typically so small it takes about 2-3 seconds to download and install on a decent connection.

    trine 2 is like that. it comes in demo form and it gives you a second dl that unlocks the whole game
