[/QUOTE] This is absolutely incorrect. The Budokai games (Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1-3) are quite distinct from the other recent DBZ fighters. Of the console games, only Bust Limit and Infinite World are remotely similar to the Budokai trilogy. The rest of them are all Tenkaichi games (or the Raging Blast and Shin Budokai games, which are heavily influenced by Tenkaichi). The Tenkaichi games generally have more characters, modes, content, and fanservice but are nowhere near as competent from a depth or balance standpoint as the Budokai trilogy. By the time Budokai 3 came out it was a legitimate fighting game rather than just a generic anime license cash in. It may not have been Virtua Fighter4/TekkenTag/DoA3/SC2 good, but it stands up to almost any other 3D fighter of its time.
