New build won't boot up? :/
- Nov 21, 2012 7:14 pm GMTAll hail Neon Genesis !Well, it's been about two years since I've built a computer, so i was a bit rusty assembling this new build. Okay, so it won't boot up after assembling it and whatnot. The power supply is plugged into the wall Power supply is on 24pin is connected to the mono 8pin is connected to the CPU I checked my motherboards manual and I believe I have the front panel connector hooked up properly Specs: And fx6100 Corsair h60 CPU cooler 8gbs of corsair xms3 500gb hitachi desktar Corsair cx750 power supply Zalman z9 case Asus m5a97 mobo Any ideas what the booting up problem could be? It doesn't beep at all, and no fans turn on.

Rip out the front panel headers, get a screwdriver and touch the pwr+ and pwr- with the steel end, if it still doesn't boot, take everything out of the case and assemble it.
