Any, competent, military intelligence organization, given this much time, would be able to determine whom these people are.

Greece has far more important things to be worrying about right now.

    That´s the problem there.

I bet you would be up in arms if these developers were from 343.

It is just that some people in these forums are detached from reality.

Why would anyone assume game developers have the right to spy military installations ? In whatever condition or case, or anywhere in the world

Would US allow that ? Why do you think it is something that would only happen to Greece ?

Surly no serious goverment would leave people that have taken 10.000 pics of their military bases free

How about release all the secrets and base locations as well ? Just in case

    Well, 8GB (8000MB) / 1MB = 8000 pics

If they had 16GB sticks, would be far more than 10.000 pics

    It is an average

Wow, Greece must be in a lot of crap about this, and rightfully so.

I mean, these are two videogame developers, on vacation, that didn't even take any pictures of military installations on purpose. They just happened to take a picture with a hangar far off from what I hear, and now they have to live in these crappy conditions.

I do hope the media is giving them a field day.

From what I've read, they were 100% on vacation and not doing anything for ARMA when it happened. They weren't even at a military base or trying to take pictures of a military base, they were just snapping pictures and one had a part of a mlitary base in it.

It really is the dumbest thing, especially since Greece is supposedly a democratic and civilized nation and they still seem to be holding on to this crazed belief. They may as well accuse every tourist ever that has ever been near one of their military bases to be spies.

It's pretty obvious the greek government is trying to milk this for some compensation. According to LoosingEnds, apparently they took 10,000 pics of military installations. They must have been there all week without stop. Derp Derp.

God that's horrible, they're stuck in prison for developing a @#$%ing game and Greece is just going to keep them in jail till time runs out?

They can't see their families, friends, or anyone until their time in prison is up all over a stupid game? Gee, thanks Greece you Grade A ignorant @$$holes.
You know, this makes me wonder as to peoples reactions to the news if it was someone from EA or Activision who got put in jail instead. Wonder how people would take it.

Every country in the world would do the same, some would have already killed them in actuality

It is hardly Greece fault these developers were morons

The Government of Greece are fvcking morons anyway and everyone in the world knows this by now.

They're doing nothing but wasting time and resources on some petty matter.

    ***SPOILER***

Derp Derp.

Yeah as I understand it, Greece is in the hole economy wise and probably has all the free time in the world for this crap. I mean, they'll get out, if they don't Greece won't get anything but scorn and hate from, well, everyone, and it's obviously all false accusations against a couple of tourists.
