    I need your advise. I am looking for a first person shooter game about zombie hunting which allows us play with my friend on LAN. Anyone give me a game name?

    I tried doing a google search for you and there wasn't much worth mentioning to be honest. Whatever is already mentioned in this thread is your best bet.

    DayZ is a zombie survival mod for Arma II , you need arma 2 combined operations to play the mod. It's supposed to be mmo, maybe you can make your own server but I don't think you'll enjoy hunting zombies in dayZ. It's feature are unforgiving survival experience in face of real human controlled players. WarZ is similar, and you can't LAN warZ since it's an fps mmo. There's a lot of PVP in warZ i.e you often get shot on sight by other players. Zombies are a sidedish.

    You can look into COD: world at war zombies mode(has Lan I think), black ops 1 zombies or Dead Island.

    There's source game like No More Room In Hell, a source mod game that you can play in LAN. It's no RPG, mission based, and a mod.

    My best bet is COD world at war for LAN. Realize that restricting yourself to LAN games will cut out all these other options.
