Current phone is a LG Nexus 4 running Jellybean 4.2.1. It will be my phone for a while. I have no real desire for LTE (yes I've experienced it with the droid DNA and while it was nice, I can certainly live without it. I also prefer stock android)

I know it supports a couple bands but isn't it lacking the proper antenna?

The LG Optimus 3D. It's stuck on Android 2.2.2, it's a terrible phone. I do not recommend this.

Galaxy S3 running AOKP 4.2.1.  This phone was amazing to begin with and now it's even better.

It will still work the same once Tmobile gets their LTE service in high gear.

I own a Nexus 4 now. By far the best smartphone I've ever laid my hands on.

You would hope so if it was worse than an older top tier phone they are doing something wrong.

Yep, that's one of the main reasons that made me dislike Android ... Hated waiting for my carrier to approve updates.
