A few months ago, I stopped going to GameSpot because of personal issues (not against GS), and when I came back I did my favorite pasttime of lurking in threads of various forgotten topics. I noticed there was a complete overhaul. I tried looking up my screenname to see if anyone mentioned me while I was gone, not that I'm oft mentioned anyway, but the search results only came up with threads that happened long ago, barely mentioning my recent exploits right before my hiatus. Changing from Best Match to Date didn't help, there was daft a change in results.

So my question, GameSpot, is: Why go from an organized and detailed list, if buggy with mixed results, to something that tells me nothing of which board it's on, and very often are not the topics I was looking for anyway? You completely removed any notion of advanced searching, unless I'm wrong otherwise. I tried looking up complaints of this topic, but I didn't see any, but if you've seen a similar thread before, that only proves my point.
