I think Cardinal Dolan is probably funnier than either one of the two candidates.

Education is the most interesting and difficult adventure in life. Educating - from the Latin educere - means leading young people to move beyond themselves and introducing them to reality, towards a fullness that leads to growth. This process is fostered by the encounter of two freedoms, that of adults and that of the young. It calls for responsibility on the part of the learners, who must be open to being led to the knowledge of reality, and on the part of educators, who must be ready to give of themselves. For this reason, today more than ever we need authentic witnesses, and not simply people who parcel out rules and facts; we need witnesses capable of seeing farther than others because their life is so much broader. A witness is someone who first lives the life that he proposes to others.

You need proof for a subjective opinion?

Is this a joke post? Obviously he wouldn't think that if he didn't have a reason to.

Are you kidding? He's the forum's resident Vatican cheerleader. Do you really have to ask why he holds that opinion?

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt in this case.

I thought they both were funny. Laughed a couple times at Obama's, probably more at Romney's. I was really surprised Romney was actually that funny, everyone says he's a robot.

It'd be quicker if you just presented proof that it won't suck. Here in this thread.

I'm not gonna write an essay on why I think it'll be awesome so I'll just copypasta the other post since you're a lazy pleb:Quantum of Solace was a weird case. The writers strike was going on so Craig and the director had to finish up the script and plot themselves and neither have any writing experience. Plus this film has ridiculous pedigree behind it. Sam Mendes is directing and Roger Deakins is the cinematographer who is one of the best working today.

Reviews seem to agree thus far.

Not off hand. Though I think Dolan has a reputation for being "affable" and having a good sense of humor.

    Apparently the event went well.
