So who picked up WRC3 then? I have, on the Xbox, and am pretty pleased with it. A sensible move forward from the previous 2 iterations but I do suspect a steep learning curve for newcomers. Out of curiosity I set the AI difficulty to the easiest setting and it didn't make a huge amount of difference!

i dont have WRC3, but from my experience with other rally games, it's not the other cars that are your primary competition, it's the road. (and the clock, if it's a true rally game)

True - but it's still the "AI" at different levels. Obviously never on track with other cars but it still feels like you are racing them as such.

I'd have to say yes to that. Personally thought DiRT 3 was not as good as DiRT 2 but.......

amen to that....DiRT3 was a huge disappointment in my book. I just managed to pick up a region free copy of WRC 2 and I'm as happy as I've ever been. I'm still a bit upset about Blackbean and Milestone not having interest in the North American market, but I'm somewhat appeased. I've heard a ton of reviews for WRC 2 and 3 where they are practically panned for overall gameplay experience, and to those reviewers I say, go ten years without a true WRC rally game and then play one of these titles before you give your opinion. I know that the word around the net is that WRC 3 won't be released region free, but I'll be patient and take a wait and see attitude towards that.
