Relationship help, I need some suggestions and good advise.

Hey my father has been lecturing me about my girl friend. I got into a argument with him tonight. He keeps telling me to break up with my girl friend. The main reason is because he said...when my girl friend laughs her upper gums show in her mouth, in other words she has a weird smile and a short upper lip that exposes her upper teeth and gums when she smiles. My dad also claims she's poor, short, and unattractive. He lectured me about how I can do way better than to be with her. He believes if I was to have a kid with her, the kids will be short, unattractive, and have a weird smile like her. I told my father that I like her personality, I'm happy with her, and looks aren't everything. Father got pissed and called a dating service in an attempt to hook me up with another girl. It is true she has a short upper lip and her upper gums show when she smiles. I been with her for 4 months now, I was the first guy she slept with. I'm 22 and she's 21. How should I approach this and what do you suggest I do?

Disregard him completely, he doesn't want what's best for you, he wants what he thinks is best for you. His happiness = your happiness in his mind, and he doesn't feel you can be truly happy with an 'ugly' girl, and that's sad. Calling a dating service to find your adult child a new girlfriend because you think his is ugly is downright psychotic.
