    Attention GameSpotters!

    If you created an anniversary blog at some point, (which many of you have) you could be eligible for a very special Anniversary Emblem! For those who roll call in this thread with a link to their blog we will be giving those users an anniversary emblem for their 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, or 10th year as a GameSpot member. So, if you haven't celebrated a recent anniversary.

    Requirements:
    - The blog needs to have been created within a weeks time of the anniversary from your registration date.
    Example: User IheartGameSpot registered on September17th 2011, his blog would need to be posted between September 17th through September 24th.

    - You must post a link to the blog in this thread here, if we don't see it we can't award you the emblems.

    Feel free to ask any additional questions you might have in this thread here.

    Did my 10th anniversary blog back in August. I don't believe I did any other blogs for my previous 9 anniversaries. Not sure why tbh. Oh well.

    Here is my blog entry from the first anniversary of my account.

    Here is my blog entry on my second anniversary, which was late as I was banned from August 2011 until I was reinstated on April 16, 2012. I was unaware that my account was reinstated until late May when I made a chance check and accessed it.

    Don't feel bad, dalger21, I was the same way, lol. I have only done one for my 5th year of being on here. I suppose it just really only feels special to me to do one only when you signifigantly been a member on a site 5 yrs or more to actually celebrate it then, especially if you've contributed a lot over the years. Of course, that's ain't knocking anybody that's want's to celebrate their 1st or 3rd yr here. Just for me, it feels more special to have acknowledged it on 5th yr than all the others. Side note: DAMN.....10 yrs??

    It's official.....I'm jealous (j/k, lol....partly).

    Well, I think it's best that the limitation was put into place. Think about it: if anybody could just come along and backlog all of their past anniversaries into a new blog, what would make the emblem special to get? And to be kinda honest, it'd be unfair if anybody who forgot to do an anniversary blog could just come along and instantly earn an anniversary emblem over those that ACTUALLY took the time to write blogs either on their anniversary day, or within that timeframe of the date. The signifigance and special feeling is gone if you're writing a blog waaay after the fact, imo. So it actually makes sense that they changed the rule.
