    My Experiance:

    had Iphone 3G and 4G

Girlfreind has Samsung Galaxy SII which I play with alot.

I currently have a Nokia Lumia 800 (For developer purposes.... shame about being screwed out of windows phone 8).

Hands down, samsung and android is by far the best. Apple barely has an app lead and its market grasp is shrinking to android's all the time. Yes the OS is more bulky but it offers alot more overall and better custimization.

Windows phone 7.5 was a let down, the interface is my favourite of the 3 HOWEVER app support (while having all the neccessities) lags far behind and leaves little of interest, something hopefully windows phone 8 will correct by sharing windows 8 apps entirely.

Nokia Phone is mediocre, I really should of went for the Samsung Galaxy SII at the time. maybe the new nokie 920 makes up for it... but too little to late for me.

That being said, Apple is losing marketshare, Android is dominant yet has similar platform limiations to iOS.

Windows Phone 8.... if Microsoft's eco-system works as intended.... Windows Phone 8 while will struggle may IN THE LONG RUN end up with the best App-to-user ratio.

Afterall, Windows OS is still 90% of the industry even with last months sales. Windows 8 + Tablets apps will be very easily ported to Windows phone 8 (and vice versa).

Windows has an uphill battle in this department.

But if windows 8 is a success this year and apps start appearing in the masses. I know I will be getting a Samsung Windows 8 phone in a years time when my contract ends.

The Tortiose and the Hare apple....... you will see.

If you have an iPhone 4/4s. There is no point upgrading to an iPhone 5.

The S3 has been out like March/July time I think.
Some new phones will be coming out like...

    Nokia 920
    nokia-lumia-920-xl-580-75.jpg
    Galaxy Ativ S
    Samsung-Ativ-S-Windows-Phone-8-3.jpg
    Galaxy Note 2

    Sony Xperia V
    sony-xperia-v.jpg
And all these are powerful and strong phones.
Question is, which one to pick...

That pic is wrong, the Apple is using a pencil so she should be completely flipping out that Samsung is also using a pencil and throwing books and chairs at the Samsung guy because his jumper also has stripes.

I have an IPhone 4S right now but won't be having it much longer.

    My rig: Intel i5 2500k | 8GB 2000Mhz RAM | 2x 120GB SSD in RAID 0 | AMD HD 6970 2GB | Asus P8Z68-V LX

If it gets out of hand (like the currently out-of-hand iOS/Andrloid thread), I'll take it down. Don't worry. It's tame enough not to bother right now.

I'm using an iPhone 4, currently. By the time my contract's up, the 5S (or something like that) will be out. My spouse has a Galaxy SII, which I've played around with, and I also have a Google Nexus 7, so I'm getting more and more famliar with Android. I've gotta say I far prefer iOS to Android.

I prefer iOS too, but you gotta admit the Android phones are getting better and better significantly.

I've got a Droid Razr right now, so it's going to be at least another year before I upgrade, but if there is a new Galaxy Note out when I can upgrade then I'll go with that.

    Intel i5-3570K Stock | Gigabyte GA-Z77-UD3H | 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600 MHz | MSI Twin Frozr III 7950 | CM Hyper 212 Evo | Seasonic 620W | NZXT Phantom 410
