1. You have to upgrade every year just to run games at mid to high settings, playing on low looks worsst then consoles. Don't let them PC madman fool you, they will say you only need to upgrade every 5 years. Lol yeah right can't fool me.
2. DRM I can't remember what it stands for but it means you HAVE to be connect to the Internet at all times!!! That's crazy man.
Don't let them Pc madman fool you, they will say your LF is always connected anyway. Well what if my Internet bill runs out or my Internet is slow from downloading to much p0rn? Yeah thought so!
3. Keyboard and mouse is baaad. It's too big, ugly and clunky, not as reposive or precise as a control, too many buttons, it's so bad you can't ever play fighter games on PC but the keyboard has lag input, and FPS are to unfair but you can just click and point on there head for instant kill. That's cheating and not fun. So don't let them of madman fool you they will say fighters are for protein junkies and bro gamers and FPS are best on PC but they are wrong. Console gamers have more skill at FPS because we have to aim more realliasicy. Csgo on consoles is prove. How a pc only game for 15 years works better on consoles.

1. If you want to keep playing everything at max you need to upgrade every 2-3 years. If you're satisfied with medium/low settings (which is why most consoles display these days) every 4 years is more than enough.
2. DRM of this type is rare and it just authorizes your game, so no matter if you have slow or fast internet it will work the same.
3. Keyboard and mouse own. FPSes are much better on it. RTSes, adventure or MMOS are almost unplayable on anything else. And if you want you can always just plug a pad.
4.actually the ammount of pc exclusives and pc-first titles have been increasing a lot. It's also growing industry, unlike console one, which currently is shrinking rapidly. Also...most ports have been at least good recently...and some are so damn good (Sleeping Dogs is recent example) that thet make console versions look really awful in comparision)
And I'm not waiting for PS4/Xbox3. If this gen is any indication both platforms will take at last 3 years before they gather enough exclusives I care about to make their purchase a sensible decision.

Once you have a PC built, it is cheaper to keep upgrading it than buying a whole new machine all over again. You don't have to buy another set of; cases, hard drives, controllers, power supplies, disc drives. Unlike consoles, in where all this added cost is included into the new console cost. If you are lucky enough as well....your CPU, Motherboard, and RAM might even last you a good bit longer into the next-generation. If consoles go the cheap route this coming generation, any PC current gen CPU, Motherboard, and RAM will be more than perfect. - Sep 13, 2012 1:47 pm GMT

everything and I do mean everything in this topic... Is 100% false. Also piracy isnt that big of an issue especially when game makers are selling hundereds of millions of copys at a pop and only a few million "which isnt the real number everyone knows they cant accuratly count it" gets pirated.
Also you dont need to upgrade every year. PC gameing in mind is supposed to last 5-6 years which my old system did, actually the guy who bought it is still able to play games near max till this day.

I totally disagree with this... Whenever I play 360 or PS3 with my mates, the controller feels so slow & clunky compared to mouse & keyboard. Aiming with a controller feels so inaccurate. I could never go back to just console gaming for this reason alone.
As for the rest of your points, point 1 is wrong. Point 2 & 4 I agree to some extent, but isn't a game changer.

OP is 100% truth. PC is overpriced and only meant for one thing: Competitive Gaming. If you're just an average gamer and you notice a lot of console ports in your gaming library, then you should be on the console. There's no point playing on a PC unless you're here for the competitive games. StarrCraft II, Dota 2, and Counter-Strike in particular.
