Mysterious level increase glitch

A mysterious level increase glitch has been discovered by a user on OT.People's levels have increased by 4 or more levels in a day?

It's impossible to go up by that much in a day because of the daily percentage cap.

I noticed today when I signed in that my level increased by 67%. I hope that won't get subtracted.

Let this be a glitch you guys dont try to fix. :D

Now THAT needs an additional 2-3 levels for me to forgive. Because its not even a glitch. There's no excuse.

I went up by a whole level and a few percentages.

Didn't think it was a glitch until I saw this though because my % has been getting frozen for days and I thought maybe they were giving us extra % to make up for lost time. I guess not.:(

Actually you reminded me of the other stupid thing: the edit limit tied with the 2 posts-per-minute limit.

Now THAT needs an additional 2-3 levels for me to forgive. Because its not even a glitch. There's no excuse.

Same goes for the BONK that baconbits mentioned (the only thing I get now is 5## errors). We are talking about things on GS that have annoyed us at some point or another.

And as for the 2 posts-per-minute including edits as well... that has happened a couple years ago as well, and back then it wasnt identified as a glitch iirc.

It seems that I am not the only one who received a Level boost as my Level went up from 48 to 50. It has been very strange the last several days for me, as I have been earning around three to seven percentage points a day. Some days, I see my percentage increase more than twice than a day.

I do not mind this "glitch" as this is what I always wanted since my Level was frozen for about two weeks more than a month ago.

Yesterday I think I was level 41 at around 80-90% percent. Today I'm 42 at 41%. :?

Last I checked I was level 37, now I'm 43? That's a pretty big jump. I miss my missed titles sort of.Loegi

It's because it's easier to level up in the lower level accounts.

Am I dreaming or did I just go past the daily exp cap today.I had 66% or 67% in the morning and now I'm at 71%.:shock:

After further research we think the level bump has to do with the boost we gave you all a while back. The reason for this, some users didnt see the bump until taking certain actions on the site.

For an example: check your fuse profiles and see the data/times you noticed the level change. There's s status update when you turn another level. So far the people we looked up had the level boost around the week we granted people their level boost for the profile level downtime.
