ESPN, and the media in general, is gonna explode if we get an Alabama/Notre Dame title game. I'd almost guarantee it'd shatter the 2006 Rose Bowl's record for (what I at least think) is the most watched college football game of all-time. Or at least of the BCS era.

Lol, Stanford vs UCLA two weeks in a row. Can Oregon still make the championship game if ND loses? Interest Bama got play Georgia in the SEC championship game. That leave one with 2 losses. I don't think Florida jumps a one loss Oregon especially after a close overtime lost.

All these 2-loss SEC teams are going to be in the top 5 now. South Carolina's huge statement win by 17 points against Wofford proves they are legit.

    Disgusting.

Ducks should go to 3 if I was voting. Only one loss and it was an overtime loss to a tough ranked team. But they should be no further behind than behind Georgia. Kansas state should drop more by a few though.

Something insane would really have to happen for that to happen. Being undefeated is nice, but when it comes with single possession wins over Purdue, Indiana, Michigan St, and Cal, your standing is mitigated a bit, sanctions or not.

So why did it take so long to have a playoff system?

Well Alabama is back in the title game. Oh joy.

Yeah me too but I expected them to drop to 5. Sucks cuz SEC basically took a bye week playing d-2 teams. LOL. A&M was ranked lower than Stanford when bama lost to them and they only dropped to 4th.

I'm gonna guess, the human polls will spit out something like:
    1. Notre Dame
    2. Alabama
    3. Oregon
    4. Georgia
    5. Florida
    6. K-State

I'm looking forward to watching the playoff in a few years. But we've got to cherish these "BCS chaos" years while we can. Say what you will about the fairness of it, but it's hard to dispute that this year will be very fun, no matter what happens..

I hope Alabama is as confident of returning to the NCG as everyone else. I can't wait to see a repeat of the 2005 SECCG.

All the voters are probably jacking off to the idea of another all-SEC title game, and you know damn well they're gonna set up the playoff so that a SEC is in either both the #1 and #4 spots or #2 and #3 spots so they can fit a SEC team in the title game no matter what, fvcking monopoly going on in college football.

Me too, let's just hope the computers don't find a way to screw it more than it already is. Aalthough in theory, the winner of Georgia/Alabama will, and should be the #2 team in the nation. If Notre Dame loses though, there's no telling what may happen.

The monopoly will end when somebody other than themselves finally beats them. Until that happens, there's really no reason it will or even should end.
