I would like to know which option do you find more attractive - Wii U with the default screened pad or the pro controller?

Are you content with the default pad or would you rather they bundled it with the pro pad?

I'm asking this because I've figured out that the default Wii U GamePad will be one expensive and complicated piece of tech and will likely result in a more expensive console.

Likewise, the extra screen could impact performance in some games and not many devs will likely make good use of it.

My opinion is split - in one way, the default pad could offer experiences not possible on other platforms, but on the other hand, we could see a lower price/better performance without it (if there was only the pro controller bundled with it).

What would you like better with the console - the default (screened) pad or the more conventional pro controller?

I like the screened controller but I will also purchase a Pro controller so I can play multiplayer.

To me they are the exact same [Same button layout and same number of buttons] but the default controller has a Screen, NFC, and motion control.

Competitively, the Pro controller. Everything else I'd like to see what the Gamepad will offer.

    NNID and Xbox GTAG: TheTravManN

Favourite Games this generation: Bioshock 1&2, Batman Arkham City, Legend of Zelda:Skyward Sword, Walking Dead, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mass Effect 3,Monster Hunter Tri

Games of the year 2013: Fire Emblem Awakening, Tomb Raider

Currently playing: Bioshock Infinite, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

    Replaying: none

Is there a difference? They have the same button layout. They're essentially the same controller.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick the wiimote/nunchuck.

Haven't tried them so can't really give it a opinion on which I prefer. On looks alone I would go with the Pro-Controller but that is only because I like the style of it.

They have the exact same layout, but the Gamepad has more features, so its the superior controller.
