After seeing The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX yesterday I decided in almost no time that this has to be the best trilogy of all time, in my opinion at least. In other words, better than Star Wars, better than Lord of the Rings, better than any other film trilogy in history, if you ask me.

    Does anyone else agree?

in terms of just superhero movies, yes.

but when you look at movies in general, both the dollars and evil dead trilogies beat it.

No. Every movie of the Dollars trilogy is better than the Batman trilogy. Same for Lord of the Rings. Bourne and Indiana Jones are also better on the whole. List goes on.

Something you all probably don't know is that him and Clint Eastwood fended off an attack from robot

That's all well and good in practice, but how does it work in theory?

As much as I dislike Godfather III, the first two more than make that trilogy better than the Dark Knight.

Do not invite me to your union. Doing so will get you ignored.

I'll take the Dollars, LOTR, Star Wars trilogies over it anyday. The Dark Knight trilogy really only had two quality films and one very poorly shot and choreographed one (Batman Begins). Obviously Nolan got a lot better at directing since the first, and in the latter two the action sequences were actually watchable, and there was a serious motive and villain.

It's one of the better action movie trilogies.

Now Playing: Final Fantasy XII, Shadow Hearts, Secret of Mana

My 100 favorite songs of All Time. And because I ran out of blog post space, here's the second part of the list.

Recent Reviews: Mother 3, Final Fantasy VII, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4.

It's one of the better action movie trilogies.

I'd take Back to the Future over it despite the third being what it was. I also enjoyed Lord of the Rings more. It beats out Star Wars though.

The movie has not been out even a week yet. There is no way you can make that kind of assertion. You haven't even given time for your excitement to cool down at all.

    God no. Far from it.

It doesn't lay a finger on the Dollars trilogy, and while Godfather III is horrid, Part I and II contain more than enough to be superior all in all.
