Yes, quite frankly, I will. Just as I have told the one person in real life I know who thinks OoT is the best Zelda game, you're a nostalgia drunk fool. As I said, as a stand alone game it's fine, but when put against the rest of the Zelda series, it cannot compare to the likes of the original LoZ, ALttP, Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.
Ocarina of Time is more effortlessly charming than all of the other Zelda games. It doesn't feel like it's trying as hard as the others, and that will always make OoT superior from my perspective. Wind Waker does deserve more credit than it gets, however. (I also don't know why you didn't list Majora's Mask in your enumeration...)

Eh, the main reason I didn't mention Majora's Mask is because, while I do believe it's a much better game than OoT, for me it suffers from many of the same problems that OoT does.
It's recycles the graphics/art style, which I really do hate (both games just look ugly, even back when they first launched), the dungeons are again pretty boring (with the exception of the Stone Tower Temple, which is amazing), but my biggest problem with Majora's Mask is that Majora isn't an interesting Villain.
The Skull Kid is, I loved learning his backstory, but he was never the villain, he's just a kid who Majora used. Same with the Moon, the threat of the Moon falling and killing everyone, was awesome and was made even better by the fact that the NPC's are probably the best any Zelda game has had (though the timelimit also helped with that because it made it so they could react differently depending on how each 3day cycle played out). But all that falls apart for me when there was never really any explination of who Majora was and why she was doing any of this. Now don't get me wrong, I love to have villains that are wrapped in mystery, but usually as you progress though the game you find out a bit more about who they are, and why they want to do what there doing, with Majora you got a tiny ammount of info stating that she was used in Hexing rituals and was hidden away because the "ancient ones"feared it, but then we're told nothing more, which is really dissapointing when you think about how much detail they put into characters that, to be honest, didn't matter.

I generally find the ambiguity of Zelda game plots to be charming, but I see your point. I do feel like they throw in these side stories without realizing that if they're going to do them, they need to flesh-out their story more, as they aren't built-upon villains like Ganon is.

Those two were some of the WORST Zeldas I ever played. Hell, I'd even play A Link to the Past or Link's Awakening before I ever touch those two Zeldas again.

Do not invite me to your union. Doing so will get you ignored.

Um, do you think a link to the past is bad? It's the best zelda IMO, and is probably my all time favorite game.

Spirit Tracks is about the only Zelda game that's worse than OoT. Neither one is close to the others, including PH.

    No....no no no no.....NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I'll take OoT open world, how Zelda should be IMO, over Spirit Tracks trains and Phantom Hourglasses sailing (....ugh PH sailing was such a nuisance looking back at it) any day....

Both had more unique dungeon and gameplay than OoT, but I still enjoyed OoT a hell of a lot more...
