Okay, no space-time manipulation, but we really need a flashlight. We know that they exist because we used one in Platinum, and they shouldn't be that expensive. A flashlight is necessary for exploring caves and I think every pokemon trainer should have one.

Swimming lessons could be extremely useful. The more I look at the new protagonists, the more convinced I am that they're wearing bathing suits under their clothes. We might see a lot of swimming/surfing and diving in B2W2.

Or we could use Black/White's HM philosophy. Yeah, that works too.

lol yeah, I'm in agreement. We shouldn't need HMs for something most people can do for themselves while HMs like Fly and Waterfall will always be needed.

Well I doubt a person could swim the speed and distance a Pokemon can. Flash, you could probably get by without, however a flashlight isn't nearly as effective.

That's right, Surf would still be useful.

    Whirlpool will be needed.
Rock climb as well. Trainers can't climb as fast as pokemon.
    And Strength.

Pretty much every HM besides Flash and maybe Cut and Rock Smash. We're better off keeping HMs and using them for optional stuff, but they must be removable like TMs.

They aren't removable since gen 1 because if you use a traded pokemon to use Cut if you have the badge but not the HM and then remove the HM and save there you would be trapped forever (just an example).

They could give us the HM right after a gym badge. Or some other way that makes it impossible for us to skip a HM.

Junichi Masuda recently posted saying that he recommends that if you bought Black previously, you should get Black 2 or if you had White, you should get White 2.

....which is what I was going to do anyway.

If he doesn't have an extremely good reason I don't care, Black Kyurem is so ugly.

Say what? I was gonna pick Black 2 even though I have White. The cover for White 2 is a little too plain for me.

Although, in the end, it'll come down to what exclusive content is in each as usual. If having the blank white cover means more of my favorite Pokemon in the wild, that's fine with me.

I wonder why? The storyline wasn't different at all, just the Pokemon and a few cities.

Its not like the system can read your save or something, since all data is save to the cart itself.

Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2 look pretty good. I still need to finish Pokemon Black though, I'm at the Elite Four.

2 New Eshop Pokemon games were announced:

One of them, called "Pokemon AR Searcher", allows you to find various Pokemon and then send them over to Black/White 2.

The other is a better version of Pokedex 3DS called "Pokedex 3DS Pro"

Hmm... if Pokemon AR searcher gives you access to special pokemon, then maybe.
