The Last Story - User Review Button Broken

http://uk.gamespot.com/the-last-story/
When I go to this page and click on the button to submit the review, it brings me back around to the same page I started on.
- Apr 11, 2012 9:29 pm GMTI'm getting the same problem. My suspicions are that it just might be because the US version of The Last Story hasn't been released yet, and somehow the inability to review the US version has also rolled over to the EU version. I'm noticing this same issue happening for DanceStar Party, which has a TBA release date for its US version and a EU version that has already been released - you'll notice you can't review the EU version if you try.

For any staff reading silentexistance is right. I temporarily changed the US date and I was able to write a review for the UK release. The moment I changed it back not able to again.

Boo :( Hope they can fix it, I tried the other games that are out in the EU but not NA and had the same problem as with TLS. Was hoping to get reviews for both it and Xenoblade out since I beat them both recently :P
- Apr 12, 2012 6:03 pm GMTOkay, I just submitted a bug report to the staff regarding this issue.
There is a way but we would both have to be on GameSpot at the same time ;)
- Hi guys - there's a similar issue with Indigo Prophecy. According to this site, the PC is only released in the EU however it's actually released pretty much worldwide. Can you please correct the PC issue as I scored it via gog.com. Thanks. *Edit* I was able to review the game. What I did was viewing Fahrenheit for 'all platforms' (as opposed to just the PC) and the right hand side, the PC version gave me an option to review it.

Hmm, serious offer or jest over the hoops we'd have to jump through to make it happen? :P If so I'd try to take you up on it but I have a hectic schedule so it'd be hard to coordinate.

Hmm... seems like an unrelated issue to me.
- @silentexistence - yeah that part is fine (eventually) however check this out. Forgot to add that on the left hand side of the page it reads 'Release: 2005 (EU)'

If the release date on the gamespace is incorrect and you have proof of its proper release date for the region, you can provide the proof to Drac for him to update it. Once the release date's been updated there should be no more issues related to posting user reviews for that game.

Serious offer. We would have to be here at the same time and if you had the review already typed up and saved in notepad that would really help. I can then change the US as already released. Then you paste your review in and pm me asap and I can then set the US date to TBA or whatever date it was.

This would be awesome, let me write something up today and I'll PM you when I'm ready to put it up, then again when its submitted :)

Anybody else pm me if you want to do this. Remember the game has to have a problem due to the game space pulling US release info and making it so on GS UK or AU you can't write any reviews and that the game has already released in those 2 regions.
- @Dracula68 - sorry to bother you however do you want me to do the same as my review is there (as I searched the game using 'all platforms') however now stuck in limbo.
If you look at the US release of Indigo Prophecy you'll see that it has already been released (Review button works as well too), which means that since Azghouls is claiming the EU version has been released but the date hasn't been updated, then it's up to him to give you proof of it so the date can be changed. Not an instance of this particular bug since both the US and EU versions have been released but he cannot review the EU version because its release date is incorrect. - Hi guys - I bought it through gog.com. Also I'm in Australia and the PC version is always appearing as EU for me. Lastly the entire Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy has different regions as if I look under PS2 it's regarded as released in Australia. Under Xbox it's released in the US and PC EU. Basically it's telling me that according to the platform, it got released in different countries? Or to be specific only three countries? * edit 1* If you want the release date, it's under the PS2 version - that is 'Release: Sep 16, 2005 (AU)' * edit 2 * Ok - this is going to be tough...the title Fahrenheit is known in Australia - the name changed to Indigo Prophecy in the US because of the name 'Fahrenheit ' - I paste the trivia below as I located this via Mobygames (scroll down the bottom). --- U.S. Title The decision to rename the game Indigo Prophecy in the U.S. was made by Atari. Fahrenheit suggests September 11th because of Michael Moore's critical film Fahrenheit 9/11, even though it's equally well known as a temperature scale, or in reference to Ray Bradbury's book Fahrenheit 451. --- I guess I can always use the 'PS2 version' and place a clause it's the review basing on the PC version.

Oh damn, not sure how I missed that. Alright, I gotta head out now but I'll fix it when I get back. I thought for sure this was a case of the game spaces in the UK and AU pulling unreleased US info. Sorry about that.
