You can easilly tell by the slightly flickering shadows that is 100% real time (and some of the textures too)

Look at the gif above, the shadow in the visor, CGI dont have flickering shadows

Cutscenes are usually in game. Doesn't mean they are real time. Where's the HUD?

On default settings, the game runs at a capped 30 frames per second with v-sync engaged, with tearing only appearing when the renderer runs over budget.

So, it's v-synced SOME OF THE TIME ...
