I have a soft spot for Budget Titles, there are tons of them that I love, let's share some of our favourite budget titles

Zombie Virus/Ambulance vs Zombie (PS2) - It's like crazy taxi, but with ambulances, and ZOMBIES, and you have to modify your ambulances with spikes and all that crap to deal more damage. Easy game, but very fun.

Volleyball Challenge (PS2) - Remember that Volleyball game on the NES? Very similar, but this one is FUN.

Raw Danger (PS2) - Survival game, where you must survive against a series of floods, earthquakes and other natural catastrofes, multiple endings, multiple routes, great branching system when playing through parallel storylines. Still need to play the first.

Michigan: Report From Hell (PS2) - At least I think it's a budget title, but damn is it fun, you're a cameraman, and you're filming a report on a mysterious fog in Chicago, when all of a sudden...people...DIE! Then you have to resolve the mystery before you run out of tape. At the end of each level you'll get a score board, where it shows if you focus filming suspense moments or erotic moments (yeah, catch that reporters butt on camera). And you'll even have lots of situations where your must make a choice, being immoral, and letting something bad happen to get a good "scoop", or the moral, stop filming and help the person out. The whole game was a very cinematic feel to it, and, apart from the voice acting, it's very well done.

    Ding Dong partys(thread) is over.

I have heard of none of those games. I need more PS2 games.

The Zettai Zetsumei Toshi (The Desperated City) a.k.a Disaster Report or whatever they renamed the games in the west, are a very popular series in Japan.

The third game is available for PSP. A fourth game was also in advanced production but it was cancelled after the earthquake/tsunami incident in Japan.

As a matter of fact, all production and circulation of the series stopped (at least from IREM's part) after the fateful incidents, which of course have increased the series cult status.
