Just want to know how the Circle Pad Pro is since I'm thinking about getting one for MGS: Snake Eater 3D.

    NOW PLAYING:

    PS3: MGS HD Collection
    Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles
3DS: Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Zelda: OoT 3D, Zelda: Link's Awakening

I've logged hours of RE: Revelations with it, it's comfy. It's physically impossible for me to play a game that allows you to use circle pad pro-without one

I actually like it alot for not only R.E. but for playing games that don't even use it. It makes the system bigger and easier to hold without getting hand cramps.

I talked with gamestop and he said its rare like less than 5% but it is a known problem. He suggestion I keep pressing it to loosen it up. I did for like 30 min today and its still the same. If I press it I have to play around to get it to pop back up.
Worse yet they said they won't have replacements for like a month.

Am I the only person that doesn't really like it? I've been using a grip on my 3DS and that was way more comfortable. The CPP is extended at the sides which I appreciate but it's not extended enough on the side of the added stick, or downwards, so it's still pretty uncomfortable, and I have to use the second circle pad with like the curve on the bottom of my thumb rather than the tip of it like I would a regular thumbstick. The weird thing is my grip on the 3DS stick is fine, but that has a couple of cm's extra bulk which means my hand sits in a much more comfortable position. I've tried a bunch of other grips with the right hand and I can get it to sit the way I want it but it's not comfortable or natural, and I don't feel like I get used to them even after an hour of play. If they had extended it that bit more in that direction, or downwards and given it little handles like my grip had that would have been infinitely better to me. It's got that extra bulk anyway why not just go that little bit further.

Can you use the R button on the CPP to play Mario Kart 7? Like will it respond to the R button on the CPP instead of the R button on the 3DS?

I would hold off on it because of the inevitable redesign which will probably include another circle pad.

It's comfy, it works well, and it makes your 3DS look stupid. That's my call. It's necessary too for certain games. They say it's optional, but if you really want to try Snake eater 3D, just try the demo with the face button camera controls and aiming. Not good.

The circle pad feels great in the hands. For resident evil it plays very well compared to the one circle pad. I think future games will highly benefit from the circle pad pro.
