Planar 120Hz vs Asus 120Hz monitors

I purchased the Planar 120Hz(sa2311w) monitor for some gaming. After the order went through, I noticed that the Asus 120Hz monitor (vg236h) monitor was on sale for the same price. The Asus seems more popular and I was wondering if anybody has experience with both of these monitors, and if so, would it be worth it to RMA the Planar in exchange for the Asus?

My general experience with Asus monitors is that they're absolutely gorgeous, but they have an extremely high failure rate. While I am absolutely pro-Asus, their monitors are crap.
