    Well I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1 today and pretty pissed how horrible it is, I mainly listen music on my iPhone and was interested in the new features. I usually have some songs on volume boost on iTunes because the sound is too low. Now I upgraded to iOS 5.0.1 and they now sound like crap like they completely screwed up the codec the bass sounds like complete crap and sound sounds pretty corrupted. I hope they fix this soon, but I think its gonna be awhile for them to release a hotfix.

    I just updated a couple days ago and I haven't noticed anything negative about it yet. Are you sure it's not just your phone? As good as iPhones are they sometimes act up.

    I've had it for a while now and it seems to have very little in difference.

    Hopefully I stay here in a ball of fire.

    Very certain it's not my phone I've tried looking on the internet, other users are experiecing the same issue.

    Btw, the cracking sound only happens if you used volume boost option in itunes for songs and then play them on your iPhone while 4.x never had any issue or quality loss.

    Which iPhone do you have? I have a 4s and it works flawlessly. My mother has a 3GS and hers works fine too.

    iPhone 3GS. Like I said if you don't use the volume boost in itunes music sounds normal. If you use the volume boost in itunes to make your music sound louder the music sounds crackled on iOS 5. I have not experienced such issue on earlier iOS builds. I have looked around on Apple forums and more users are experiencing this problem.

    iPhone 3GS. Like I said if you don't use the volume boost in itunes music sounds normal. If you use the volume boost in itunes to make your music sound louder the music sounds crackled on iOS 5. I have not experienced such issue on earlier iOS builds. I have looked around on Apple forums and more users are experiencing this problem.

    i dont cringe at all. i actually like how i can customize it. i also like to pay for good apps and show my support.
