If money was not an issue, what would be some of the best available ear bud headphones available in the consumer market? Taking both sound (bass, clarity, soundstage etc.) and comfort into consideration.

As far as the United States is concerned, some of the more popular "end all, be all" customs are the:JH-13/16,UM Miracle, andWestone ES5.

"Best" will always come down to preferences based on taste so your mileage will vary within the upper bracket. Aggressive adrenaline pumping in your face customs? JH16. A warm bassy signature that melds in perfectly with rock? the ES5. A middle ground between both with some astonishing mids and highs? UM Miracles. You get the idea; with designers like 1964 ears, Spiral Ears, and other custom companies up on the rise, the top end custom market is expanding dramatically in terms of product selection.

Sennheiser. All price ranges. Great sound. The Bose IE 2's are great for around $80. If you have $200-500 to blow, you can get high end Shure, Westones or Monster Turbines.

No, like I stated before, the memory limitations alone on consoles can't hold enough textures to be able to replicate Crysis 1.
thats why they dont need the memory PS3 has a little something something called Blu-Ray. and its 25 times the size of a petty 2gb SD RAM

Beats are junk. Kids only buy them because Dr. Dre is associated with them. The bass in Beats covers up the awful sound quality.

I should have included a certain .jpeg.

But ofc, you are right, I tried someone's £200 pair, and it sucked big time compared to my £20 Sennheisers HD202. Everything apart from the bass feels so dull, especially for non urban music. But then again, I would never recommend them for that genre either.

I was really surprised by this brand I'd never even heard of until I bought them. JLab's Jbuds J3. They aren't the best out there, but they are only $20. They sound great and have just the right amount of bass.

On another note, anyone have experience with Velodyne's V-pulse earbuds? They cost $90, and claim to have the most and best bass, but they are only just as good as those $20 Jbuds. Do they need to be burned in? The Jbuds have hundreds of hours of use on them, while these Velodynes are brand new(and NOT impressive)
