on to the more pressing matter.

so for all those saying they have answers for me, i hope you can get to the bottom of this mystery for me.

my question:

i was playing with one of my uncles the other day, and he brought to my attention a very interesting yet strange anomaly. if you go to the xbox marketplace, and you look at the picture that is there for the game Shinobi, it has four pictures. the bottom left picture is the interesting bit. upon closer inspection, my uncle brought to my attention that in that bottom left picture, we can see what looks like a character named Shiva from a game called Streets of Rage, and he is kicking what looks like a character named Terry Bogard from a game called Fatal Fury.

so my uncle and i would like to know why they are there. their sprites are physically bigger than even the boss in the game. is there a reason for this? or is it just a nod to other games? are they actually in the game? or did the art creator just slip them in there as reference?

my uncle is very curious as to why this is, so he asked me to post it on the forums. he has a gamespot account as well, but he didnt know how to get to a good forum to ask this question. if you would like to know more (since i'm not sure if this question properly phrases his curiousity), send him a message and tell him to post here. his username is xboxaficionado. i will send him a message as well, and hopefully he will provide further info on his curiousity, or tell me that i did a good job here :P
