    So you think you can sing? GameSpotters do you have talent for song writing, well now is your chance to show off those skills. GameSpot is having a Comic Con Anthem Writing Contest where we want you to come up with your very own Comic Con inspired theme for us to sing proudly around the office. You can either perform this song in front of the camera, sing the song with just the lyrics displayed, or ask a friend to sing it for you. But we know that some of you might be a little bashful so for the camera shy you can submit your anthem to GS-Community via PM.

    Those who participate in the Comic Con Anthem Activity will receive a new Comic Con inspired emblem. However the to the brave who dare submit a video entry has a chance to win a much greater prize. The user who submits the best Anthem via video will receive a GameSpot Total Access Account, an exclusive legendary emblem, be the Featured GameSpot Member in the weekly report, a chance at Comic Con Goodies and of course a profile power up.

    The top contestants will be considered by the Community Staff then will be put up to a vote by having people go to the GameSpot Spotlight channel, the video with the most thumbs up will be the winner.

    I might just actually submit a video. I have a question, though. I know that there are 4 song options to change the lyrics to, but I think that is kind of limiting us. Is it possible to include different songs?

    Instead of just pming the lyrics would a video with the lyrics on it and the background of the song (like karaoke) be considered acceptable?

    That's what I was thinking myself. Put the song on karaoke and sing my own lyrics while filming it. I think that is what he meant.

    That's what I was thinking myself. Put the song on karaoke and sing my own lyrics while filming it. I think that is what he meant.
