If you like one, chances are you'll like the other, but which do you prefer?

Tell me what you think of it oh and make sure to watch the original British version as its been re-done in America (which sucks), like The Office.

I think The IT Crowd has its moments. It's not as good as Graham Linehan's other work (ie. Father Ted and Black Books) but it's still quite decent.

The Big Bang Theory, on the other hand, I cannot watch for more than 2 minutes before the urge to kill rises.

Both are about equal though i like them for different reasons. The IT Crowd may have the slight advantage as i've got quite a bit of experience of the sort of things some people ask about tech, even though the internet in a box was exaggerated i can completely believe that there are people around who think the internet is in a box locked up in some military facility.

    I am currently homeless.

Please send money and/or Lego. I have been collecting lego blocks for nearly four years now as I intend to build my own home. I currently have exactly 1,692,008 blocks of various sizes and only need another 4,836,029 to complete plans of constructing a four bedroom home with sunken lounge and indoor swimming pool.

Prior plans to build a home from seawater were abandoned due to physics.

The IT crowd by far. Unlike The Big Bang Theory it's actually funny, and it has Chris Morris, and Matt Berry.

I love Matt Berry – there's something disarmingly odd about him that makes him hilarious. I think he may be his voice. Speaking of Chris Morris have you checked out Nathan Barley? I rewatched that last night for the first time in years. You see so many of those people in a place called Shoreditch in London

It's everyone. They all suck in equal measure.

IT Crowd, although I also quite like the Big Bang Theory.

In general, British Comedy > American Comedy.

I tend to tell people to hit it with a hammer, they stop asking you for help then

BBT is somewhat discreditablewith it's blatant stereotyping. I occasionally watch it and often shake my head at how blatantly, ignorantly, and forcefully the show tries to get it's ideas across. It can be funny at times, but more often than not, I am left wondering what the producers were thinking.

Knowing you like Chris I would highly recommend it - not as good Brass Eye (mind you not many TV shows are), but its certainly more accessible than Jam. Good cast and some very funny moments...
