For 1080p on your budget your best bet is the GTX 460, as the above poster indicated. If you want to be more in the $150 range, the ATI 5770 is the way to go IMO.
i just built my first pc and got a new monitor. i now realize my graphics card will not handle what i want. i just bought a 25 inch full 1080p monitor and my card just doesnt like the idea of 1080. im hopping to get some help on what i should look at or get to run games smooth enough at 1080 res. i dont really wanna spend over $150 but my limit is $200 cuz i know for what i want money will be involved. my comp: psu: 500 watt mobo: asus p5n-d video card: geforce 220gt monitor: 25 inch samsung thx for the help, if theres anything else u need to kno let me kno.wapakalypse83http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/video/gf104-p8.html

Crysis is an odd case. Up until this generation Nvidia cards handled the game better than ATI cards. However, the HD5000 series have proven to be faster than their Geforce counterparts in Crysis almost across the board. However, the GTX 460 is better than the 5830 in most games from what I've seen.. just not in Crysis/Warhead.
