This is my first time using an image editing software (I used GIMP) and I really like my end result, it is not as good as some others but I never though my first GIMP pic would look that good (the TWEWY one is my first one )

I'm a bit dissatisfied with the fonts I used, so in true OCD fashion, I made several alterations to the same card.

    It'll be up soon.

Looks like we need to start a wish list in this thread before this little activity ends.

Any of you have any e-cards that you would like to see for a certain game?

Could always use a Demons Souls White World event as a pro valentine and a Black World event as a bad one. I think Atlus was even taking a vote on what to do for the holiday with the update.

You mean sort of like a request or suggestion? Needs Street Fighter! especially Chun-Li >__>

Actually, I've got a lot like MW2, GTA4.... I may have enough time to just do it myself

To be honest, I think I might extend the deadline since this is not a contest where I need to judge to find a winner. I mainly wanted to share some code for everyone starting tomorrow so if you all post the images after that's okay. The sooner you all post the images, the more likely I can create code for the e-card you all created.

I am trying to make this little activity newbie friendly as possible so the coding was going to help everyone know exactly how to share an e-card even if they never shared images on the site before.

Alright, I posted a new MW E-Card I just finished (and edited my first, previous submission to post the rest of the Jill text variations)

I don't think Jody would actually take the time to code all of it Sorry about my compulsiveness, I just don't know which one is the most fitting. I'm not the best at themes. >___>

    Any suggestions?

LOL. I probaby made too many NOLF e-cards but I had a lot of images from an older contest I ran back in 2002. I really wanted to make more Q3 e-cards but it is hard to find shots of the characters in the game.

If any of you know of any good quake character images let me know. I might make some more tonight.

I've only got a basic knowledge of some of the tools, so it's limited. I really can't do anything like what what you've got on your sig right now. I can try though.

I'll see if I can work something up tonight.

I know alot of people don't own picture editing software and or may not want to install software demos.... here is the best no-install free (all online)way to do e-cards. I did mine witth these 2 sights.

For text creation that utilizes transparencies:
    www.cooltext.com

For picture editing that will allow for transparencies:
    www.pixlr.com

Just make sure you unlock the picture layer in order to remove backrounds of pics you are editing to make them transperent when using the magic wand.
Open multiple files you are working with so you have them all in one spot, like your text you got from CoolText and your images.
And thats it. It will let you save them in many formats, just make sure your final picture is saved in jpeg, since that is what is required.

THANKS ! U ROCK ! I did not know about "pixler". Great tool [and its free]. The only bad thing about it is that it has no ruller for web design.

Here are some tips about how to share your e-cards.

I am going to keep the submission thread open for the weekend to give others a chance to add more images and to possibly receive the participation emblem.
