Thats right folks, your going to get haggled in-game by a NPC salesman. Really shady, and they are NOT providing DLC through Steam, only EA accounts.

I don't see what the big deal is. Even if it proves to be annoying a mod that removes the npc will eventually come out.

Wouldn't that ruin the immersion?

I don't really think its any more immersion breaking than any DLC, you'd otherwise have to go to a website, enter credit card info, download DLC, install it, then magically you have new parts of whatever world you are playing in...

DLC should be done in the main menu, not in-game. Especially considering Dragon Age is meant to be immersive, not haggling you to buy dlc.

Nibroc420
it's only 1 NPC.

He is one npc and the other npcs and quests are just some quests and npcs and some locations and armors...etc, etc. But those things could might as well be in the game instead of removing them and add them later as extras, atleast bethesda didnt throw the dlcs right in our faces before the release of the game. Telling us "hey you can add this in the game" is like telling us that they made it to pay extra, they could atleast wait like bethesda and say "we are currently working on a dlc..."
