I recommend... (And some of my "stay-away" from games.)

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite(As well.. :P ) Pros : Unique addictive gameplay that requires quite a bit of skill ;Weapon variety andeach weapon have their own merits so you willtend to find one of your liking. Cons : Can get really fustrating at times ; No practical storyline ; About 70% of it is similar to the older Freedom but this is still a must get.

Phantasy Star Portable Pros : Addictive gameplay ; Decent gaming features ; Unique cast of characters and weapons ; Lots of stylish or cute weapons and effects ; Multiple endings ; Skill and Job variety ;Lots of customization options for your main character.Cons: Easy but annoyingly long to collect everything in the game ; Online missions can be played solo but some missions definitely require 2 people ; Can get really easy after a while ; Only the Japanese version can have downloadable content.

Fate/Unlimited Codes Pros : Must have for Fate fans.Each character have a unique Special Attack.Some characters have a somewhat hilarious ending while the others are dark and gloomy andthe rest are happily ever afters.Cons : Little relevation of the original plot. Doesn't last too long. Each character have their own Plot in Arcade mode,which would be confusing to those who don't actually know anything about the Fate series ; Maps lack variety and creativity ; no Knockouts / Ring Outs ; Some Characters are very overpowered. (A matter of skill but some characters are relatively....Overpowered.Gilgamesh for example.He excels in melee and ranged attacks so even a mediocre player can kill an experienced player with him.) ; Combos are fustratingly long (If your enemy or you yourself is skilled,you can trap your enemies in extremely long combos.) ; Not much decent unlockables ; You won't know what some characters are talking about and you can't get some puns and jokes if your not knowledgeable of the Fate series.

Disgaea 1 & 2 Pros : Light hearted storyline ; Addictive gameplay ; Unique system and features and quite alot of unlockables.Fullyvoiced plot conversations.DecentAnime portraits.Cons : Gets a bit too light hearted at times ; Most unlockables require a second playthrough ; Not for those who prefer to rush things ; lacks Cinematic cutscenes.

Star Ocean 1 & 2 Pros : Great plot ; Unique cast of characters ; Decent gameplay ; slight variation of storyline depending on theCharacters you have ; Can reach beyond the typicalLvl. 99 or 100.Decent portraits.When you visit townsvia the Personal Action system,you tend to see your team mates doing something funny for comedy relief.Cons : Unable to collect all the characters in a singleplaythrough; Not much Cinematic cutscenes.

Valkyrie Profile : Lenneth Pros : Unique plot,3 different endings.Decent gameplay.Well drawn portraits.Movie Viewer allows player to view their favourite Cinematic scenesonce more.Cons : The best ending is fustratingly hard to get if you don't refer to guides.Difficulty of bonus stage doesn't increase as you grow stronger so it gets boring on the 3rd or 4th try.Voice Samples are time consuming to collect.You will find yourself repeating the game again and again to collect everything ; Lack roaming freedom due to period limit.

Final Fantasy Tactics : War of the LionsPros : Considerably long plot ; challenging gameplay ; multiple jobs.Unique Artwork.Cons : Can get pretty hard at times.

Warriors Orochi 1 & 2 Pros : Decent replacement of the PS2 version ; Chaos Mode can actually be quite challenging ; Have characters from bothSamurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors ; Warrior Orochi 2 havea Dream Mode,which involves the Behind the Scenes sort of battles,comical battles and unlikely alliances. (The girlsgroup up against the men,for example,even Da Ji joined in.)Cons : The PS2 version have certain features that the PSP version doesn't have but the truth holds like wise for the PSP version...I think I recommend the PSP version.

Final Fantasy I or II Pros : Strong plot ; decent RPG gameplay. Cons : Not for those who prefer intense combat and high quality graphics ; low replay value.

Crisis Core Pros : Strong plot ; Unique DMW System ; Action - RPG elements. ;Decent musicCons : Materia System isn't similar to that of FFVII of PS1 ; Lack roaming freedom ; Low replay value.

Prinny : Can I really be the Hero? Pros : Comedy plot ; Great inclusion to the Disgaea series ; Action Adventure 2D Gameplay. Cons : Not for those who prefer serious storyline ; You won't get some of the jokes if your not used to Disgaea.

Dynasty Warriors : Strikeforce Pros : Unique gameplay compared to it's previous series ; RPG - Action elements. Cons : Still sticking to the same plot (I know it's restricted by history...but hey...China have alot of eras and dynasties.)

Metal Gear Solid : Portable Ops Pros : Similar to it's PS1 and PS2 versions ; Unique plot that fills up the gaps of MTGS ; Interesting new gameplay feature Cons : Stamina Bar...It's not like MTGS 3 of which you can easily find food to replenish it ; the Expansion Pack's content is the size of a patch,unless your a die hard fan,don't get the expansion.

Jeanne D'Arc Pros : Several unique features for a Tactical game ; Decent plot based off the legend of Jeanne D'Arc,the Heroine of France ; Decent amount of voicing ;Movies are Anime :PCons : Overall atypical Tactical gameplay ; low replay value.

Dissidia : Final Fantasy Pros : Simple controls compared to most Fighting games ; light RPG elements ; Decent plot and music ; Unique move set and system ; lots of unlockables (which are mainly gameplay elements.) ; Unique battle system.Decent collection of maps and music.Cons : A good game but definitely not the best ; Battles last for a very short time since it's easy to collect Brave Points and finish your foes quickly ; Once your used to this,even the strongest foes are easy.

Star Wars : Renegade Squadron Pros : Decent replacement for the console versions ; decent features and gameplay Cons : Doesn't last long if you don't have any companians to play with you ; not as good as the console versions.

Star Wars : The Force Unleashed Pros : A prequel that describes the past events of Star Wars so it's perfect for Star War fans; Decent gameplay ; Multiple costumes (Including Darth Vader.) Cons : All Jedi have pretty much the same moves ; Doesn't last for long ; Again,it'll be better if you can get the console version ; You might find the plot somewhat boring if your not a fan of Star Wars. (*points at self* )

Soul Calibur : Broken Destiny Pros : Retains most of the combat features of the main series ;Many partsfor Creation Mode ; Comedy plot. Cons : The plot can get somewhat boring ; The Story mode is meant for those who are new to Soul Calibur (About 90% of it is Tutorial.) ; Cannot adjust the physical size of characters in Customization ; I never liked the face selection for Customization of Soul Calibur.. :P ; Can get really boring so it's better if you hold onto the Console version if you have it.
