Forum Name Change & Tournaments Status

As you will notice, the name of this board has been changed to focus on all competitions on GameSpot, such as community game nights, tournaments, contests, sweepstakes, live competitions or union tournaments.
GameSpot is no longer focusing on hosting tournaments the way we used to on a weekly if not monthly basis. We are no longer looking for recommendations of games at this time, but you are welcome to post recommendations for future community game nights in this forum.
If another tournament does happen to be hosted by us you'll be the first to know about it! Be sure to stop by the community blog for future updates on all things happening in GameSpot's community.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

No more tournaments? Aww. I looked forward to them. Ah well, at least we still have Game Nights. Are we going to be doing the second bounty hunter Grudge Match soon?

With the economy and staff cutbacks the tournaments news is not really a surprise, though I am greatly disappointed to be honest.
Hopefully we can get a tournament or two going at some point.
