I like Vegemite but it sometimes burns my throat a bit. I can understand why people would hate it; I and other Australians probably only like it because we've been eating it since early childhood. I think Marmite is disgusting.dave003OMG you left the AU forums! :o:o:o:o

All three of thesepeople are correct. I have a theory that only us Australians can like the taste of the heavens that is vegemite. I have it every morning on toast for breakfast and I always go away satisfied.
I understand foreigners disliking vegemite, because I've given them a teaspoon full in the past to try it. lol. Any Aussie knows that you have it THINLY spread. Crumpets with butter and a LIGHT spread of vegemite are some of the the tastiest things on Earth!
Yeah, its all true, vegemite is sooo good, especially on toast. I am Australian also :P[QUOTE="RaZoR_RaiN"][QUOTE="rrclarkcdr"]

that poses another interesting question, any of the yanks tryed kangaroo tail?
I just got back from having my piece of toast and vegemite. I had a bit of a scare though. I went into the pantry and found the jar... Then I took the lif off and it was empty :o! Then I looked in the pantry again and there was an unopened jar :D.CreepingDeath_NIIIIICE! :P
never used to like it then one day just had the urge to give it another try. Cant imagine having a cheese sandwich without some vegemite on it too
Alot of things in this crazy world I just don't care to eat and this would be one of em... right alongside lutefisk.
