I'm currently into Stephen Hunter right now, so I thought I'd check out one of his earlier books. That book is called The Day Before idnght. I'm very early into it, but all I know about it so far is it has something to do with nukes. I hope it's as good as his Swagger novels.

I need to read more Stephen Hunter...

Right now I'm listening to "A Dirty Job" by Christopher Moore. I really like Moore's stories, he has a good sense of humor/silliness but the stories (and characters) are genuinely interesting. "Fluke" is still my favorite, though.
Fun fact: His books "Bloodsucking Friends" and "You Suck" are about a female vampire named Jody. In addition to that, the book takes place in San Francisco, and Jody is a redhead. She's also a vampire, but I don't think she shares that trait with Jody Robinson (of GameSpot).

I've seen those books at the library quite frequently. I might check them out some day.

Instead of playing my DS during my breaks at work I've been reading this....

It's so informative and I've learned so much about the early days of video gaming. My only problem is that the books stops at last generation....hopefully there will be another book that picks up from there.

Once I'm done with that I'm going to dig into....

I bought it last month but couldn't find the time to read it. Heard its great!!!

I actually shelved Dreams From My Father today. Since you like your video game book, you should give this one a try.

I just finished The Day Before Midnight. What an awesome book! The next book I'm going to read is, yup, another Stephen Hunter novel. It's called Hot Springs. I got that on order from the library, and it's going to take some time before it gets here. I might pick up something else and read that while it's coming.

I've been so busy at work I haven't the chance to stop by Barnes & Noble lately, but I did come across a worn copy of Clive Barker's The Books of Blood that I forgot I had. I just started reading it again recently.

I decided to check out Survivor, by Chuck Palahniuk. He's an awesome writer. I'm going to read this while I wait for Hot Springs to arrive.

I am listening to Prey by Michael Crichton, but I just started today

Nice. The next Palahniuk book I want to read is Haunted, which just came into today, so now I got two by him right now. Hey, have you read Snuff? I'm interested in reading that.

Yeah, I've noticed from what I've read from him that his books are rather easy to read quickly.
