I have no idea where that stereotype comes from, it doesnt make sense! :lol:

My guess is because a lot are open all day and night. They are cheap, they are pre-made, and you can take them on the go. I heard cops have to leave their food in an emergency. So being cheap and quick to eat is nice for them I guess.

Didn't it come from the cartoon power puff girls? That's where I first saw it.

The bigger question is why someone would make multiple new accounts to bump old threads. Abandonment issues?

Most cops are on duty when they get their breakfast, and the job sometimes requires them to leave on a moments notice (not always an emergency). You can't exactly eat eggs, and bacon on the go (also it would be cannibalistic). Also remember this stereotype was founded before any fast food chain, or breakfast sandwich was created. The donut was pretty much a cops only breakfast option.

Donuts are delicious and childishish. And cops are sometimes (USUALLY ACTUALLY) fatties.
