Headset that works with both PS3 and 360?

    i'm looking for a decent quality headset (headphones & mic) that works for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. i tried using a USB headset only to find that, while both systems have USB ports on the front, neither are capable of outputting audio through them. suck. anyway, i was using a Turtle Beach Ear Force (i forget the exact model #) set and i was able to get good audio output for both but the mic only worked for the 360. any ideas?

    i really doubt that a headset exists that works on  both.  if there was,  you'd see it for sale at Gamestop.  Yeah they make more $ if they sell you 2 headsets, but I'm sure a ton of people would pick it up without even thinking.

     

    the ps3 seems to not have a large selection on headsets.  as far as i can tell you have to use a bluetooth.  while the 360 has like 20 different headsets you can buy and only a couple of them are wireless (but not bluetooth)

    I was in the same boat as you and decided on the new AXpro.....It works with both the 360 and PS3...they work/sound great...and the USB mic for the PS3 is flawless.. ..Finally a mic for the PS3 that works 100% of the time..

    No problem....

    I got mine for 139.00 as part of a deal from Tritton..But I think yea had to pre order them..I dont know if that deal is still going on
