Normal Vista idle CPU usage?

My cpu seems to always and I mean always use 1-3% when I'm doing absolutely nothing. Is this just my computer or is this normal and how Vista works.

I went to task manager and the two processes that seem to be the cause are dwm.exe (Desktop Windows Manager) and siderbar.exe

Can Vista users tell me if this is the same with yours. Thanks.

I guess it depends on how you use it. I love the sidebar, and is one of the best features of Vista, IMHO.

But yeah, 1-3% is nothing, my XP PC does the same thing.

My XP is always at 0%... If im just watching task manager and no other apps loaded. Vista at 1-3% under the same circumstances.
